Recycle your mobile phone
Do you have any old‚ unwanted mobile phones lying around at the back of your drawers or cupboards?
There are an estimated 80 million unwanted mobile phones in the UK. At present, fewer than 10% of these are recycled.
Each of these phones could generate crucial funds for Deafness Research UK’s vital hearing research.
It’s simple
- Email alex.hann@deafnessresearch.org.uk with your address and we'll send you a freepost envelope.
- Take out your SIM card.
- Put your unwanted mobile phone in the envelope‚ and pop it in the post.
Get your company involved
If you work for a company, you could make a huge impact by encouraging them to initiate a mobile phone recycling scheme for employees or to donate their old company contract mobile phones when upgrades occur.
We also have phone recycling boxes that you can place in your company kitchens or lounge areas.
We are keen to make this as easy for you as possible, so please contact alex.hann@deafnessresearch.org.uk for details and support.
