The support of people who remember Deafness Research UK in their Will is crucial to our work into curing deafness and hearing loss.
We have already achieved a great deal - better hearing tests can now detect deafness in babies only days after birth, and cochlear implants are restoring the hearing of profoundly deaf children and adults, transforming their lives.
Our current research projects are making a difference to our understanding of deafness and hearing loss.
We are presently funding a wide range of research projects - learn about our recent research awards.
We need your support if this work is to continue into the future, and if we are to achieve our vision of a world in which people are not disabled or disadvantaged by deafness or related hearing conditions.
One in seven people in the UK are affected by hearing loss, but only 0.25% of the total medical research spend is dedicated to hearing loss. We don't receive any government funding, so your support it crucial.
