What we fund

Deafness Research UK completed a merger with Action on Hearing Loss on 31st March. All of our grants schemes are now closed to applications. All existing awards will continue to be funded but will be transferred to Action on Hearing Loss.

Action on Hearing Loss and Deafness Research UK will shortly be launching the Pauline Ashley Small Projects grant scheme. This new funding scheme will provide funding for small projects or pilot studies (up to £30,000) and will be specifically targeted to providing project support for new talented investigators or established investigators wishing to embark on a new line of research.

Further details and application forms will be available in April/May 2013 and applications will be made through the Action on Hearing Loss website.
