Standing orders and the charity's change of name

If you have a standing order or make donations via Give as you Earn schemes to Defeating Deafness you do not need to make any changes just because the charity has changed its name.

The charity was originally set up in 1985 as The Hearing Research Trust and that remains its official name. Defeating Deafness and Deafness Research UK are working names. Our bank accounts are set up to accept donations in any of our names.
