Virgin London Marathon 2010

We would like to thank the Deafness Research UK London Marathon Team. Our largest number of runners ever ran the 26.2 miles past many amazing London landmarks as part of the first Virgin London Marathon, raising thousands of pounds in sponsorship from generous family, friends and colleagues.

The runners came from cross the UK and even from as far as the USA. The event was an amazing success and we want to congratulate everyone who took part. Thank you again to our runners for their physical efforts in running and their fundraising efforts to help the work of Deafness Research UK.

Brighton Marathon 2010

We would like to thank all members of the Deafness Research UK Brighton marathon team. The first ever Brighton Marathon on Sunday 18th April was a hot and sticky day but our runners did themselves proud by taking part in the gruelling 26.2 mile run.

The event was a great success and we look forward to working with the organisers again next year to keep this event, which supports smaller charities, happening year on year. Thank you again to our runners for their physical efforts in running and their fundraising efforts to help the work of Deafness Research UK.

We will provide you with all the support you need along the way including a fundraising pack and a Deafness Research UK running vest.
