Deafness Research UK relies entirely on voluntary donations - your support really can make a difference!

Take a look around you. Did you realise that one in every seven people has a hearing impairment? Deafness and other hearing problems can be devastating, not only for those affected but also for the people around them. However, thanks to medical research, we are now on the brink of remarkable breakthroughs which promise to change the lives of hearing-impaired people forever.

We have the scientific expertise to, one day, prevent deafness altogether. But science alone is not enough. Deafness Research UK, the one national charity dedicated to overcoming the challenge of hearing impairment through medical research, relies entirely on voluntary support to continue its work. Our supporters have helped us achieve a real understanding of the genetics of deafness, better hearing aids, new and more accurate ways of testing babies for hearing loss and much more. Imagine what we could achieve if more funds were available.

This section explains how you can get involved with our work.
