* British Geriatrics Society
The purpose of the site is to make available information which would be of use to its members, or any persons or organisations who might have an interest in Geriatric Medicine/ Gerontology and the care of the older person

Contact the Elderly groups organise gatherings for frail, elderly people who live alone.

* Deaf Senior Citizens (N.I.)
Deaf Senior Citizens (Northern Ireland) address the issues of Deafness and being elderly by offering a support network of lunch clubs all over Northern Ireland, a full advice and advocacy service, arts and crafts programme and an I.T. program too along with safety in the home.

They have four main priorities: combating poverty, reducing isolation, defeating ageism, and challenging poor care standards. Working together with older people they campaign, research and develop practical solutions.
